The Department of Law (LLB-4 years) has been established at GNIES. The first batch for admission in the Department has been started due to the dire need for quality and professional skill of this subject. It has been decided by the GNIES authorities that the evening session may be started in the best interest of the students as well as the area. The Faculty of the Department consists of professional and experienced teachers.

Welcome to the Faculty of Law at Ghazi National Institute of Engineering & Sciences (GNIES). It is our pleasure to welcome our students to an academic environment dedicated to legal education, academic excellence, professional ethics, character building, and social responsibility. The study of law is not merely about learning statutes, rules, and legal principles; it is about developing the ability to distinguish between right and wrong, uphold justice, respect the law, and serve society with honesty and integrity. Our understanding of human dignity, respect, and justice is deeply rooted in Islamic teachings.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized the dignity and respect of every human being. He said: ( “A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim: he does not oppress him, nor does he humiliate him, nor does he despise him.” — Sahih Muslim ) This beautiful teaching reminds us that respect for human dignity, protection from humiliation, rejection of oppression, and compassion towards others are essential elements of a just society. For students of law, these values are particularly important because the legal profession carries a profound responsibility to protect the rights, dignity, and freedoms of individuals. At GNIES, we believe that true legal education must develop both the mind and the character.
A successful legal professional should possess strong academic knowledge as well as integrity, honesty, discipline, patience, tolerance, respect for others, and a strong commitment to justice. We particularly emphasize ethical conduct and character building because the legal profession carries a great responsibility towards individuals, institutions, and society. Students are encouraged to develop a strong moral foundation, maintain professional dignity, respect the rights and opinions of others, and always act with fairness and responsibility. Our objective is to prepare students who are not only competent legal professionals but also responsible, ethical, and principled citizens. We encourage our students to understand that knowledge without character cannot effectively serve society.
A lawyer's strength lies not only in legal arguments but also in truthfulness, courage, integrity, compassion, and commitment to justice. Students are encouraged to develop critical thinking, research skills, communication abilities, leadership qualities, and professional discipline. At the same time, they should cultivate compassion, respect, tolerance, and a sense of responsibility towards their community and country. We urge all students to make the most of their academic journey by actively participating in classroom discussions, legal research, academic activities, and community-oriented initiatives. Always remember that your education should make you not only more knowledgeable, but also more ethical, responsible, respectful, and humane.
