The Executive MBA curriculum integrates diverse pathways for experiential learning. Guest speaker sessions, simulation exercises, and term projects offer opportunities to enrich comprehension through hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, workshops, training sessions, and networking events are regularly organized to foster a mindset of continuous learning throughout one’s career.
Executive MBA Project
The mandatory Executive MBA Project serves as a conduit for experiential learning by involving data collection and thorough analysis of industry-specific issues, culminating in the presentation of findings alongside proposed solutions or recommendations. Collaboration with industry professionals and faculty mentors is essential for project completion.
Positive Societal Impact
Aligned with the mission of IBA-GNIES, the Executive MBA program emphasizes social enlightenment and ethical awareness. Ethical considerations are woven into various courses through explicit topics and pedagogical methods such as case studies. Specific courses like ‘Legal and Regulatory Environment of Business,’ ‘Organizational Behavior and Leadership,’ and ‘Corporate Strategy’ delve deeper into ethical dimensions. Moreover, the curriculum includes a Code of Ethics component within courses related to Accounting and Auditing.
Utilization of Technology and Innovative Teaching Methods
IBA-GNIES actively supports and promotes the adoption of innovative pedagogical tools by faculty members through training sessions and access to relevant resources. Many Executive MBA courses utilize case studies to facilitate the application of theoretical concepts in real-world scenarios. Faculty members leverage resources like Harvard Business Publishing, incorporating Harvard cases and simulations into the curriculum.
Moreover, the Executive MBA program integrates various software applications such as SPSS, AMOS, and Advanced Excel into student learning to enhance analytical skills and proficiency in data management.
